Sabrina R. Grogan has been a member of the South Carolina Bar since 1995. Originally from Troy, New York, she moved to South Carolina with her family in 1979. She graduated from Irmo High School in 1986 and attended college at the College of Charleston. Sabrina majored in English Literature at the College and received her Bachelor of Arts in 1990. She went on to graduate school at the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 1995.
As a law student, Sabrina worked for Goodstein & Goodstein of Summerville, South Carolina and Rosen, Rosen and Hagood of Charleston. Upon graduation from law school, she accepted a position with Rosen, Rosen, Hagood and began work as an associate in September 1995. Sabrina worked in various areas of practice during her early years with Rosen, Rosen and Hagood, including doing work for clients such as the Charleston County School District and The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston. Gradually, she began to focus on family law, under the mentorship of Robert N. Rosen.
In 2000, Sabrina entered into a partnership with L. Mendel Rivers, Jr. Mr. Rivers, a former family court judge, had an established practice focusing on family court issues. Since 2000, Sabrina has practiced almost exclusively in the family court and probate court. After several years in partnership, Mr. Rivers retired from the practice of law, at which time Sabrina formed her current solo practice.
